Did you know ?

Whale sharks have thousands of tiny teeth, each less than 6mm,arranged in more than 300 rows but they feed by taking water into their mouths and straining the food through their gills. They can open their mouths to a huge width.

Families and Seniors

It would be hard to beat sharing the thrill of swimming alongside the biggest fish in the sea with your family. Talk about an adventure for everyone!!.

This is an experience that you will all cherish for years to come and at 3 Islands Whale Shark Dive, we are well equipped to ensure your big adventure is taken care of from start to finish.

As with all of our tour participants family groups have available to them a range of flotation devices for youngsters or those less confident in the water and the added security of our safety tenders following you all in the water.

We know that parents will always look out for their kids but you can rest assured that our friendly staff will help out to ensure mum and dad get the best experience they can throughout the day as well.

Our vessels cater well for family groups with large shaded deck areas and excellent vantage points for viewing all of the marine life. With qualified and passionate staff on board young future marine biologists are sure to find the information and chats with our guides are fuel for growing minds.

We understand that travelling on holidays as a family can be expensive so for a family of four, two adults and two children 17 and under, we offer a discounted rate of $1300. That's nearly 10% off full retail! If you have more kids we simply continue applying the discounted rate to every extra person.

Why not call our office today and speak to one of the friendly office staff or check out our reviews on TripAdvisor for more information and to hear what other families say about our tour.

One of the common things we hear from the seniors we take on our tours is that this is a "bucket list" tour that they have wanted to do for a while.

With that in mind it is up to us to ensure that it is a day that is remembered for all of the right reasons. At 3 Islands Whale Shark Dive we are well equipped and renowned for our safety standards and the delivery of consistent high levels of customer service to people of all ages.

As with all tour participants' seniors have the added comfort of a range of flotation devices available for those who may not be as fit as they once were and the added security of access to a manned safety tender following them the whole time they are in the water.

Our vessels both have excellent access to and from the water with low marlin boards and large stable dive ladders for getting back on board. Our two boats are both built in Western Australia for Western Australian conditions and are very stable with large unobstructed decks.

Age should not be a barrier for those still seeking adventure and our friendly guides will ensure that you experience all aspects of the tour from start to finish. There is no rush to get anything done on board and our main concern is you get to see what you're here for, the biggest fish in the sea.

We are also happy to offer Senior Card holders a discounted rate of $360 for each card holder. This is available when booking direct or through any of our booking partners.

We had a great day on board and thoroughly enjoyed our day. It’s the little things that count. Like the information on the local area that was given in the bus on the way out. The staff were great and happy to help out which was appreciated by us 60+ veterans.

  • Hubbard Family

We expected & hoped for whale sharks but the manta rays, humpback whales and delicious salads were something extra. The team at 3 Islands are to be congratulated for their professionalism & friendliness.
